About

Postcards
from the road.

N extTripRadar is a slow-travel journal — a weekly, hand-picked destination guide delivered like mail. No sponsored placements, no clickbait listicles, no "15 reasons why" fluff. Just specific, honest, opinionated recommendations.

Each postcard focuses on one place and one angle: the best time to visit, a local's guide, a three-day itinerary, a hidden gem. The kind of thing you'd write to a friend if they asked.

What we cover

Capital cities and fishing villages. Walking holidays and food crawls. Shoulder-season Europe. Southeast Asia on a shoestring. Long road trips and 48-hour weekends. If it's worth the plane ticket, we'll get to it eventually.

What we don't cover

Influencer hotels. Over-tourism hotspots at their worst. Itineraries that require a private driver. The point isn't luxury — it's knowing the place.

Who's behind this

NextTripRadar was founded by Aliasgar Essaji, a software developer based in Switzerland with a habit of building products that help people get things done. He started NextTripRadar to make trip planning less of a chore — the same reason he built FlyPlan, the AI trip planner behind our Trip Planner.
